The Bauer X-LP 2.0 Intermediate Ice Hockey Skate is a comfortable hockey skate for teenagers, advanced kids and smaller players who finally want to move away from poorly fitting rental skates. Anyone who skates regularly will notice quickly: having your own skate gives a more consistent fit, feels more familiar and can provide much more confidence when skating, braking and turning.
Your own skates instead of changing rental skatesMany young players start out with rental skates. That works for the first attempts, but it can quickly become uncomfortable when the fit is different every time, the boot creates pressure or does not provide enough support. With the Bauer X-LP 2.0 Intermediate, players get their own ice hockey skate that fits the same every time. This creates more confidence on the ice and makes training, recreational skating and first hockey sessions much more enjoyable.
Intermediate skate for teenagers and smaller playersThe Bauer X-LP 2.0 Intermediate was developed for players looking for a stable, easy-to-skate and comfortable skate. The Intermediate sizes 4–6 close the important gap between junior and senior skates. This makes the hockey skate especially suitable for teenagers, growing players and anyone for whom senior sizes are still too large.
Stable Bauer construction for more controlThe 3D Poly Carb construction gives the foot solid support and helps players feel more secure on the ice. Especially when learning to brake, skate forwards, skate backwards and change direction, a stable boot is important. The Bauer X-LP 2.0 Intermediate provides a reliable base without feeling unnecessarily complicated or too stiff for beginners.
More comfort than many rental skatesThe sublimated microfiber liner provides a pleasant feel inside the skate. The Anaform ankle pads support and cushion the ankle area, while the 30oz felt tongue with Mesh Guard comfortably protects the instep. This makes the skate feel much more personal and comfortable than many classic rental skates, which are often heavily used or do not fit the foot properly.
Good choice for recreation, training and hockey entryThe Bauer X-LP 2.0 Intermediate is thermoadjustable and can therefore adapt better to the foot. The LS PRO III holder and stainless steel runner provide a solid base for controlled gliding, safe braking and first quick movements in ice hockey. This makes the skate ideal for players who regularly go on the ice and want to feel noticeably more satisfied with their own equipment.
