Bauer & CCM Inline Hockey Skates

FAQ about Bauer & CCM Inline Hockey Skates

Inline Hockey Skates – Top selection from Bauer & CCM (and other brands)

In this category you will find Bauer Inline Skates, CCM Inline Skates and various other brands at top conditions. These skates are designed for roller hockey: durable outer shells, comfortable liners and long-lasting materials – perfect for training and games.

Important about wheels (indoor/outdoor): There are indoor wheels (softer, more grip, faster wear) and outdoor wheels (harder, more durable, less grip on sports hall floors). Indoor wheels can also be used outdoors – they just wear down faster. Outdoor wheels are too slippery inside. Rule of thumb: under 82A = indoor, 82A and above = outdoor.

Fit note Inline: Currently, inline models are mostly offered in the standard fit (no Fit 1/Fit 3). The most important factor is therefore the correct size according to the table below.

Inline Hockey Skates – Fit & Sizes (Standard Fit)

Please follow only our size specifications – they are adjusted to real-life experience and may differ from manufacturer charts. For Bauer & CCM, the standard fit applies.

How to measure your foot correctly (Inline & Ice Hockey)

Place your foot on a sheet of paper. Place the pen directly at the foot edge and draw the contour – do not draw outside and not under the foot. Measure the length from heel to the longest toe, do not add anything. The charts provide enough allowance; the secure fit comes from proper lacing.

How to lace Inline Skates correctly

1) Open the skate wide (leave top eyelets open at first). 2) Slide foot in, push heel back. 3) Lace evenly from bottom to top. 4) Finally lace the top eyelets – then the foot sits firmly.

General information about Inline – Roller Hockey Skates

  1. Size chart: Next to each product you will find a size chart (HELP). Measure your foot and follow only the EU size. We have adjusted the values for each skate. Manufacturer specifications are not relevant – our info is decisive. Full right of return or refund if needed.
  2. Quality of inline skates: The higher the price, the better the quality: more durable outer shell, more comfortable liner, longer lasting materials. Pay attention to the difference from the recommended retail price (crossed-out price) – SALE models are often the best price/performance choice.
  3. Pro or beginner: Regular hockey players should not buy below approx. €150 – the skate needs to absorb shots. Beginners can go cheaper, but: the higher the price, the longer lasting & more comfortable.
  4. Brakes: Hockey inline skates have no brake blocks (no click/brake systems). Braking is done by turning sideways – every hockey player learns this quickly.

FAQ – Inline Hockey Skates (Indoor/Outdoor & Buying Guide)

Which Inline Skates should I choose – Bauer or CCM?

Bauer Inline Skates stand for stable, sporty construction; CCM Inline Skates are known for high comfort and wheel setups for different surfaces. You will find both brands in this category at top conditions – plus other manufacturers for every budget.

Indoor or Outdoor wheels – which do I need?

Indoor: softer <82A, maximum grip on sports hall floors, faster wear on asphalt (but usable outside). Outdoor: harder ≥82A, durable on asphalt, but too slippery indoors. For frequent players: plan separate indoor and outdoor setups.

How do I find the right size for Inline Skates?

Draw the exact outline of your foot and measure the length in cm. Use the chart above to choose the correct order size. Please rely only on our specifications – they have been adjusted per model.

Do Hockey Inline Skates need a brake?

No. Hockey inline skates are without brake blocks. You brake in a sports-specific way by turning sideways – just like in ice hockey.

Beginner vs. advanced – what price level?

Beginners: entry-level models from approx. €120–150. Ambitious/Pro: higher-class skates >€250 with clearly more stability, comfort and durability.

Conclusion & Recommendation: With correct foot measurement, standard fit and the right wheel choice (indoor/outdoor), you will quickly find your perfect Inline Hockey Skates. The widest selection and best prices for Bauer & CCM Inline Skates – and other brands – are available at Hockeyzentrale & Hockeyoffice.
